LETS ROLL 9-11 ~ Well backed at Nottingham on his reappearance but he was well beaten. He has a decent chance on his form last season though and conditions should be in his favour. No without a chance if bouncing back to form.

BIRKSIDE 9-11 ~ His record for his new trainer reads 1,1,1,2,1,2,1,1, so the 5yo gelding is in fine form. Equally effective on turf as he is on the all weather so he has to be respected.

PUY D’ARNAC 9-7 ~ Faded in a tougher race than this last time out but the 5yo gelding has been in fine form this season. He has been rising in the handicap though after a couple of fine performances so has to defy a career high mark if he is going to win.

CHARLOTTE VALE 9-2 ~ Exposed mare that is well held by Puy D’Arnac on Doncaster form. Could well run into a place but difficult to see her winning this race on her current mark.

COMMAND MARSHAL 9-2 ~ Michael Scudamore isn’t a trainer that is worth a second look and not hard to pass over.

RED WINE 9-1 ~ Not the horse he used to be and was well beaten by Puy D’Arnac at Doncaster so he will need to show improved form to win.

STOLEN LIGHT 8-13 ~ Sure to need the run after two years off the track but even at his best he might struggle to win.

BUKIT TINGGI 8-12 ~ A potential improver from a yard who does well in this sort of grade. Consistent last season so sure to run his race but will have to show improved form to win.

ABSTRACT FOLLY 8-9 ~ Sure to need the run after 5 months off the track and he would prefer quicker ground.

FLAME CREEK 8-8 ~ Comes into the race having won at Southwell last time out but this is a different challenge and he is far too inconsistent to be backed with any confidence.

STOOP TO CONQUER 8-8 ~ Well beaten by Flame Creek last time out and a similar result is likely today.

CONCLUSION

Given the form of Birkside he looks a more than attractive each way bet in this race given he is a versatile sort regarding conditions.
