Hello my name is James King and I'm currently a student studying Geography in Manchester. Horse racing is my real passion though and I spend hour upon hour looking through the form and studying material relevant to horse racing. This can include breeding, horse physiology, statistical race trends, essentially anything where I feel there are gaps in my knowledge.
My interest in horse racing began when Amberleigh House came from the clouds to win the 2004 Grand National. The enjoyment that gave me hooked me on a sport that I hadn't previously been exposed to. As a sports mad schoolboy all my attention had been on participating and watching the traditional sports of rugby, cricket and football. I imagine like a lot of people going to university was the catalyst that turned my interest into horse racing from a hobby into a obsession. With plenty of free time I could fully involve myself in a subject that cannot be approached without almost total commitment. I taught myself everything I currently know about horse racing by learning from my experiences and reading up on any areas that I had little or no knowledge of. I believe I  currently have a good grasp of my subject, although im still learning and this is what this website is all about.
I hope after I finish university to get a job in the racing industry preferably as a junior racing analyst but I just want a job that will allow me to follow my passion with horse racing. Hopefully writing regularly will help hone my techniques and give me something to present to any potential employers in a few years. More important to me though is that this may prove helpful to one or two readers and may help point you in the direction of a couple of winners.

As a member of the independent tipster website www.online-betting-guide.co.uk I have achieved some notable successes. The website hold regular tipping competitions during the major horse racing festivals and against thousands of fellow participants my tips have shone through.
